Job Overview
The Mortgage Lender (TML) is a specialist intermediary-only mortgage lender that provides products and criteria that meet the needs of borrowers who are not served by the high street. We're looking for an experienced Software Support Engineer to play a pivotal part in supporting and improving the software that drives our business forward.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a discretionary annual bonus, pension contribution, and 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Configuring, updating, and testing software applications to ensure seamless integration with our core systems.
* Diagnosing and resolving application issues and errors, working closely with developers, vendors, and other IT staff within the wider Shawbrook group.
* Escalating complex or urgent issues to senior members of the team and collaborating with third-party providers to manage software updates and incidents.
Requirements
* Experience working on software-related projects, preferably with Finova Core banking software or equivalent.
* Ability to think quickly, deal with multiple problems at once, and investigate data issues, software bugs, hardware, or software configuration issues.
* Familiarity with JIRA project management tools and HALO incident management systems would be beneficial.
