Alexander Daniels are seeking a Finance Manager on behalf of a dynamic and growing business in Leicester who are expanding through strategic acquisitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial integration, establish efficient processes, and oversee ongoing financial management.
This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can build and manage financial frameworks from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the financial integration of a newly acquired business, ensuring a smooth transition into existing operations.
2. Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and reporting structures to support business objectives.
3. Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial management.
4. Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
5. Establish and refine financial reporting to provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders.
6. Identify and drive efficiencies, improving processes and financial performance.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Fully Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE) with a strong track record in financial management and business integration.
2. Experience in integrating acquisitions, implementing new financial systems, and building reporting structures.
3. Strong process improvement skills, with the ability to establish and maintain financial controls.
4. Commercially minded, with the ability to influence and support business decision-making.
5. High proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
6. Hands-on, proactive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
