About the role
We are looking for an intellectually curious individual to join our Large Class Machinery team, based in our Redditch Head Office. Your primary focus will be coordinating tender submissions, ensuring all requirements are met and deadlines are hit. You'll work closely with the sales team, gathering and organizing crucial information for competitive bids. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you dive into complex commercial and product data, identifying trends and opportunities to strengthen our tender strategies. A significant part of your role will involve creating clear, visually compelling presentations and reports that translate intricate data into actionable insights for both internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
* Write tailored bid responses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
* Manage communication between clients and internal stakeholders throughout the bid process.
* Proactively stay abreast of industry trends to enhance bid responses and raise company profile.
* Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and client meetings.
* Collaborate closely with the Quarry Sales Manager to facilitate tenders from inception to submission.
* Understand and include customer-focused sales messages and share with bid authors.
Experience/qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant topic (e.g. Economics)
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong written skillsand clear communication
* Experience coordinating bids and producing written responses based on client requests (desirable).
