The governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed headteacher to maintain and develop the school's position as one of the leading primary schools in Powys and the borders. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop their leadership experience and skills. This role also includes a teaching commitment, enabling the successful candidate to be hands-on in the delivery and development of the curriculum for Wales.

2. Excellent communication and organisational skills
3. The ability to promote the Christian ethos within the school
4. Excellent teaching skills (the position requires a teaching commitment of 0.3)
5. High expectations of both pupils and staff
6. Excellent financial management and school budgeting
7. Thorough knowledge of the curriculum for Wales
8. Excellent knowledge of the Wales ALN code and practices
9. Proven digital competency
