We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Programmer for our client in Braintree. They are looking for a highly skilled candidate to join their adept team of machinists that is ever expanding.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manufacturing complex parts & will be capable of running different/multiple machines unsupervised and producing quality parts as well as being capable of programming.
What’s the job?
1. Programming and running all machine tools within the business controls generally Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain.
2. Competent use of Hypermill software to generate programs.
3. Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself.
4. Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies.
5. Communicating any problems or obstacles to production Manager.
6. Monitoring productivity rates, standards, and quality control.
7. Training and coaching team members.
8. Improvement of processes capture of people’s knowledge and ensuring its embedded within works order information.
9. Implementing safety, health, environment, and quality requirements.
10. Aiding other departments and business areas when required.
11. Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.
Who can do this?
1. On the job experience for 5 years plus.
2. Use of CAD/CAM systems ideally Hypermill.
3. Lean manufacturing concepts and experience.
4. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
5. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
6. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
7. Good background knowledge in milling turning workshop processes and quality requirements.
