RSK Geosciences have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to start or continue a career as a Senior Land Surveyor with the aim to build a team and progress the role into a survey manager position. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and looking to build a successful team in the South West for an already thriving business, with the help of our management team based in other regions of the UK. Responsibilities: Tendering works Completing surveys Completing setting out activities Completing 3D scanning activities Project management Reviewing junior staffs data CAD production of survey data Setting up monitoring Projects Setting up control networks Setting up project specific QA system Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate should have: Minimum of 8 Years’ experience delivering land surveys essential Good understanding of surveying practices and control networks Experience in manging/training Junior Staff Competent user of survey instrumentation – GPS, Total Stations Competent user of 2D / 3D AutoCAD Competent user of surveying reduction software Must hold a UK Driving License Advantageous but can provide training: Experience in 3D Scanning registration Competent User of N4ce and or Cyclone HND or equivalent Qualification Member of industry organisation (RICS, CICES or ICE) Monitoring experience Measured building surveying Salary and Benefits: Salary £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience Site Based allowance Bonus Scheme Contributory Pension Scheme Free life assurance cover A flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays and private health care We encourage Continuing Professional Development and, as a Registered Practice with the Geological Society or Institute of Civil Engineers, we are committed to supporting candidates along the pathway to Chartership.
