In your role as Creative Lead (Commercial), you will be the driving force behind our campaigns, leading and managing the design team and working closely with copywriting to produce visually compelling, high-impact work across both print and digital channels. You’ll take ownership of OM Studios’ visual outputs, with a particular focus on commercial activities, bringing a blend of creative vision, hands-on design expertise, and leadership.
We’re looking to foster a dynamic partnership where visuals and words seamlessly come together to create compelling, idea-driven campaigns. From concept to execution, you’ll ensure that every visual element enhances and elevates the narrative crafted by copy. By guiding both the design and copywriting processes, you’ll ensure cohesive storytelling across all platforms, whether through impactful advertising, engaging social content, or innovative digital campaigns—uniting visual and verbal elements into powerful, award-winning creative work.

Essential
* Proven Creative Leadership: Experience in a senior design, art direction, or creative lead role with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual campaign development, impactful commercial work, and award-winning projects across print and digital channels.
* Portfolio: A diverse and compelling portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across print, digital, and advertising, with a focus on concept-driven campaigns and commercial success.
* Team Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and upskilling creative teams, including designers, while fostering collaboration and innovation.
* Cross-Platform Expertise: Strong experience designing for platforms including display ads, social media content, web banners, email campaigns, and print materials.
* Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting ideas confidently and aligning creative outputs with business objectives.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite
* Project & Workflow Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest creative standard.
Desirable
* Creative Excellence: Experience producing award-winning commercial campaigns for high-profile brands or agencies.
* Team Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams, including copywriters and design specialists.
* Copywriting Expertise: A strong understanding of copywriting principles and the ability to collaborate closely with copy teams to develop cohesive, idea-driven campaigns.
* Animation Skills: Proficiency in animation tools such as After Effects or Motion.
* Emerging Trends & Education: Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, tools, and technologies, with a proactive approach to educating and upskilling the team.
* Client Engagement: Experience pitching ideas to senior stakeholders and external clients, identifying opportunities for creative innovation.
* Web Knowledge: Familiarity with basic web design and UX principles.
