About Buttercups House: Buttercups House is a state-of-the-art bungalow situated in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, purpose-built to suit the needs of young people with complex learning and physical disabilities who require a short break service. It welcomes up to 3 young people at one time, encouraging them to develop their skills while assisting and promoting independence and wellbeing.
Role Overview: As a staff member at Buttercups House, you will play a crucial role in providing support and reassurance to the young people, ensuring their safety and happiness during their stay. You will assist them in engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, gymnastics, and music, while also helping them to build confidence in a busy environment.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Support young people during their stay at Buttercups House.
2. Encourage independence and skill development.
3. Provide reassurance and maintain a safe environment.
4. Engage in activities with the young people.
