The Vacancy The North Lincolnshire Home First Myos House Extra Care Housing is a Registered service that provides support to people living with Dementia. Myos House consists of 25 individual apartments with onsite care available 24/7 365 days of the year. Our aim is to ensure that we promote and encourage a person to remain independent in their own home as long as possible. We have various posts available for a fixed term until 30th September 2025. You will be working for an employer who cares about your wellbeing and health and offers confidential employee welfare counselling. The role involves direct work such as supporting with moving and handling, attending to personal care needs and administering medication as well as maximising opportunities for social inclusion and emotional wellbeing. The various roles offer a fantastic work life balance with part time hours. Support to people operates on a rolling rota basis requiring 3 to 4 to shifts per week, covering AM shifts 07:00 to 15:00, and PM shift 15:00- 23:00, with an allocated 30 minute unpaid lunch break. For those who would like to work more hours there is always ample opportunity to work extra hours. A qualification in care is desirable, although not essential as you will receive full induction and training. You will also receive regular supervision and support from your peers as well as access to training to undertake the role you may apply for.
