This pivotal role will involve overseeing budgeting, cost optimisation, asset management, and service cost management. Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement robust IT finance policies and procedures aligned with our client’s strategic goals. Support the IT Leadership Team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing expert financial guidance. Identify and capitalise on cost-saving opportunities within the IT department, collaborating with key stakeholders. Establish and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the department's financial performance and value delivery. Implement effective mechanisms to track and allocate technology service costs based on usage and business needs. Oversee a robust IT asset management strategy to optimise asset utilisation and minimize costs. Skills/Experience Required: Proven track record in IT commercial management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. In-depth understanding of IT systems and their financial implications. Proficiency in ServiceNow Asset Manager or similar asset management tools. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
