Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team at NEXT. As a key member of the Brand Marketing Design Team, you will play an integral role in creating visually compelling designs for both campaign and retail outputs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer with a flair for creativity, exceptional layout skills, and a solid understanding of the print production process.
We’re looking for someone who can think beyond the brief, bringing fresh ideas and innovative concepts to elevate our brand across various touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conceptualise and design impactful creative solutions for in-store POS, printed collateral, and digital marketing campaigns.
2. Work collaboratively with the design team to develop creative solutions that align with the company’s brand guidelines.
3. Design layouts with precision, ensuring balance, clarity, and a strong visual hierarchy in all creative work.
4. Constantly review market competitors and make recommendations to maintain NEXT’s position as market leader.
5. Manage multiple projects from concept to final production, ensuring all designs are delivered on time and to a high standard.
6. You will work closely with, and take guidance from, the Design Managers and Senior Graphic Designers.
7. Support the wider business and various departments with on-brand creative assets, including packaging, POS, presentations, and branding.
8. Stay updated on design trends and new technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Requirements:
1. Strong experience as a Graphic Designer plus a portfolio showcasing a range of creative design work.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
3. A natural flair for design and an eye for photography.
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Highly motivated, well organised and able to demonstrate resilience when working under pressure.
6. Solid understanding of the print production process, including pre-press and colour management would be advantageous.
7. Familiarity with digital design tools or experience in creating digital assets and animations is a plus.
8. Experience working within brand guidelines.
