Nursery Deputy Manager – Full-Time (40 Hours)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our vibrant nursery, which cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery operates 51 weeks a year, from 8am to 6pm, and is committed to fostering a nurturing environment that inspires creative exploration through the eyes of a child.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for overseeing rooms, including children’s development and staff practices.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments to maintain a safe environment, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding procedures.
3. Lead and mentor the team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment while developing staff into strong practitioners.
4. Support the day-to-day management of the nursery, acting as a key leader across all operational areas.
5. Maintain high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care and development for all children.
6. Serve as a key worker, supporting the learning and development of specific children.
7. Promote equal opportunities and inclusivity, particularly for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
8. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and family members to support each child’s development.
Requirements:
1. A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification (or above).
2. Significant experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
3. A proven track record of leading teams and delivering exceptional care and education.
4. Commitment to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
