Hi, I'm Lucy, Sales Support Manager at Motorway. I'm looking for a driven, empathetic Team Leader to join my team here in Brighton. About the role
As a Team Lead, you'll be in charge of a specific team within Sales Support – maybe Case Handlers, Social Media, or Document Collection. You’ll be key to building knowledge, hitting KPIs, and keeping the team engaged. You'll be a great communicator, brilliant at solving problems, and passionate about making our service even better.
* Manage team performance and absence, giving support and guidance.
* Have regular 1-2-1s, giving feedback and coaching.
* Keep the Sales Support Manager in the loop about team performance, customer demand, and any issues.
* Be the go-to person for tricky customer questions.
* Lead the charge on recruiting new team members.
* Find ways to boost team performance and output.
* Come up with team incentives to drive engagement and performance.
* Work with other teams on key tasks and projects.
* Coach, allocate work, and make sure everyone sticks to the schedule.
* Oversee quality assurance of team correspondence.
* Keep an eye on CRM platforms to ensure the team's work is top-notch, both in quality and quantity.
* Make sure we’re all GDPR compliant.
* Share the fun of running team meetings.
About you

* A good understanding of core KPIs and workforce management.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Proven experience as a Team Leader or supervisor.
* Proven experience with recruitment.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* A solid understanding of the Sales Support department.
