Great Yarmouth Services Limited is a GYBC wholly owned Local Authority Trading Company, which started on 1st April 2023. It was created to provide frontline and commercial services on behalf of the Council.
GYS Ltd. is currently looking to recruit for a permanent full-time Gardener within our Open Spaces Department.
The role reports directly to the Open Spaces Supervisors who lead and manage the GYS open spaces department teams across Great Yarmouth.
The successful candidate will be required to work within a small team, with a minimum of supervision and be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.
This is a permanent role, full-time, working 37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 15:30.

About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills, knowledge, and work experience:
* Experience in the use of grounds maintenance equipment and sector.
* Physically fit with previous experience in similar manual work.
* Full driving license.
* Any acceptable NPTC or LANTRA qualifications.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Knowledge of COSHH legislation.

£40,476 - £44,711 per annum (plus up to 10k market supplement per annum).
