Hours: 6:00am -2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm rotating weekly Mon-Fri The Job Role: - Understand and comply with all health and safety standards for both yourself and your colleagues. - As an operator you will undertake machine setting/interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure the machinery runs to its optimum, - Ensure all issues are escalated correctly and efficiently and in a timely manner, - Be able to follow standard operating procedures/written documentation, - Perform start-up and shut down check procedures, - Analyse, interpret and report live data for line performance evaluation, - Good understanding of continuous improvement tools/technics and their use, - Maintain, monitor and achieve operational targets to help deliver the daily production plan, - Monitor and improve product quality and completing periodic line quality checks, - Complete routine maintenance and product change overs of specific line equipment, - Continuously identify and implement workplace improvements, - Maintain and promote measures that support waste minimisation and sustainability in operations, - Be punctual with good time keeping and attendance, Requirements: Good manufacturing or engineering background, Good standard of manual dexterity, Machine operating experience, Good timekeeping and attendance, Ability to work to written instructions, Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions, Attention to detail, Flexible - Able to work extended hours or different shifts on occasions when required. Committed attitude to Continuous Improvement activities such as 5s etc (INDPERM)
