Job Title: Credit Assurance Specialist Job Purpose: To protect the Company from fraud and to provide vital support to the Credit Team, you will be responsible for Broker Reviews, Broker Panel queries, monitoring broker quality via declined and cancelled rates, analysing data and to maintain a relationship with the Sales team. To be a point of referral on Broker Panel queries from around the business, as to whether we can consider a broker on panel to why a broker has been removed and where appropriate recommend that a broker is removed or reinstated to panel. To accurately analyse all intelligence received on brokers to protect the business. Also help to protect the company from the risk of fraud by using our anti-fraud systems such as Hunter, CIFAS and SIRA to investigate and act upon information received in a timely manner. To provide a professional, efficient, and high standard of customer service to the rest of business, Fleets’ customers, intermediaries, valuers, and solicitors. Key Outputs and Responsibilities: To action and maintain all information from lenders on brokers, reporting correctly onto the SIRA system. To action and consider all broker appeals together with any broker panel queries from across the business. Develop and maintain co-operative relationships between all internal stakeholders and investigate all referrals in a professional manner. Work Fleets Fraud systems such as CIFAS, SIRA & Hunter to mitigate potential losses. To investigate all intelligence and action accordingly. Carrying out Broker reviews, liaising with sales to arrange they visit the broker or before removal of a Broker and preparing a management report for Credit Committee. Reporting the removal decision in a professional manner to Broker Support, the Broker, FCA, and other Lenders. Prepare Management Reports, ensuring they are prepared in time for Exco or Credit Committee meetings. Analyse broker data to protect the business. Qualifications and Experience: Current or previous experience of working within the mortgage industry with a strong mortgage underwriting background, preferably with at least 5 years underwriting experience and having currently or previously held a mandate. Proven ability to exercise good commercial and professional judgment. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Good attention to detail. Adaptive to ongoing change. PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen to learn and develop a career. Knowledge of Hunter, CIFAS & SIRA systems would be beneficial but not essential.
