Newly Weds Foods Corby Based on Manton Road, Newly Weds Foods has been operational in Corby since 2002. The site is proud to be the only industrial ingredients manufacturer in Europe with a unique process that creates authentic Japanese “Panko” style breadcrumb. Job Summary: To be responsible for the day to day Food Safety and Quality activities at the Corby Site. Food Safety & Quality § Ensure that all Non-conforming product is held and identified, and that the relevant documentation and investigation is completed in a timely manner. § Carry out monthly internal audits including GMP, Hygiene, Glass and Hard Plastics and HACCP Controls. § Actively participate in both customer and 3rd party audits. § In conjunction with the site supervision, ensure that all Internal Food Safety Incidents are thoroughly investigated and documented. § Manage the system for ensuring that all relevant equipment is calibrated and that documentation is maintained. § Carry out periodic finished product testing and arrange ring testing all those conducting testing on site. § Carry out periodic traceability exercises to test the traceability systems on site. § Manage the pest control activities on the site and ensure that any action raised by the pest control contractor are closed in a timely manner. § Prepare and send samples for external analysis as required. § Carry out monthly environmental monitoring and water testing in line with company policies. § Assist in the maintenance and implementation of the Quality Management system on the site. § Investigate and respond to customer complaints in a timely manner. § Raise and follow up supplier complaints as required. § Actively participate in the site Food Safety plan as a member of HACCP team § Sample and test as required raw materials being received on the site. Communication § Advise the Production Manager of nonconforming product § To identify and establish effective working relationships within the team and across the business. § Site management team and morning meeting. § Wider Quality team Training § Carry out induction Food Safety Training for all new starters at the site. § Deliver regular Food Safety Refresher training for all site staff.
