Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their existing finance team. This role is immediately available and offers an element of hybrid working.The Role: The position focuses on purchase ledger but will also include some sales ledger work when needed You'll be involved with debt management, including all credit control, customer communication, resolving customer queries, issuing credit notes, copy invoices and statements and ensuring payments are received as per agreed credit terms Posting stock supplier invoices to correct ledger accounts and allocating to the correct general ledger codes. Also reconciling monthly control accounts. Forecasting payments in all currencies and arranging pay runs in line with payment terms. The Person: We're looking for someone with experience in a similar role and a good understanding of both purchase ledger and sales ledger functions including credit control, invoice processing, cash allocations and bank journal preparation. We are also prepared to consider someone with a little less experience in more of a junior role You'll have great attention to detail, be well organised and work well as part of a team Ideally you'll have an AAT qualification or equivalent and be experienced using SAP or a similar system. The Package: A basic salary of £26,500 - £27,500 is available depending on experience There is an annual discretionary bonus 25 days holiday The opportunity for hybrid working once training is complete up to 2 days a week Excellent training and development opportunities This role is immediately available so please apply below.
