Contract Manager / Senior Project Manager – Worcester (Hybrid Working Options) - £75,000 - £85,000 basic salary - 33 Days Holiday - Pension - Car Allowance/Company Car J3A Recruitment are excited to be supporting a key contractor who have seriously started making early moves ahead of AMP 8. With a positive looking end to AMP 7, they are now kicking on to attack what's to come ahead of the next period of work. Due to a very healthy pipeline and recent wins with both Thames & Severn Trent, they are now looking to onboard an experienced Contract Manager / Senior Project Manager to work on cradle to the grave projects and support the business in reaching their goals. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing a number of project teams and play a pivotal role with client & customer relations, QHSE, programme management and overall responsibility for all cost & value of these projects. What you will be doing Assist with the establishment and delivery of the objectives and targets contained within the Annual Business Unit Business Plan Maintaining effective and long-term relationships with internal and external customers Implementing and maintaining the companies Strategy and Policies for Sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and Development Ability to prioritise and meet pre-defined deadlines; Ensuring the project teams comply with the Companies Business Management System; Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability; Managing, monitoring, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the project teams in their personal development Undertaking annual appraisal for staff directly reporting to the role Direct supervision of project teams which will include project and site managers, engineers, quantity surveyors and foremen What we will need from you Ideally you have worked with a main / leading contractor in civil engineering Previous experience in running projects within the Water Industry is a MUST. Experience on Thames Water or Severn Trent is highly advantageous Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate construction related subject (desirable) Professional Qualification e.g. CIOB (desirable) CITB Level 3 Safety Course (essential) Appropriate CSCS Card (essential) High level of leadership and management skills High level of Commercial and Financial ability High level of leadership and management skills (essential); The offer Salary up to £85,000 (dependent on experience) Career progression.
