The Emergency Department at NNUH is seeking to recruit highly dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants. The NNUH hosts the busiest Emergency Department in the East of England seeing over 140,000 patients every year.
This role is key in continuing our #JourneytoOutstanding and ensuring that patients are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an individual with excellent communication skills who is capable of providing the highest possible standard of patient care.
You’ll work within a varied Multi-disciplinary Team, playing a vital part in ensuring a safe, timely and effective patient experience.

Providing overall nursing leadership and management of the ED department having responsibility for the period of duty. Ensure a high standard of research based nursing practice delivering patient care. To act as a clinical specialist giving advice to other ward areas and outside agencies as required. To be responsible for the promotion and implementation of ED competencies and standards set by the nursing and midwifery professional bodies and trust nursing policies and guidelines. To participate in the teaching programme of the department.

• Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC Code and work within limits of competence
