Learning and Development Specialist Salary: £37,000 pa good range of benefits Permanent: 36.5 hours per week – part time or flexible working considered Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid – 2 days per week office based. My client is World Vision UK an international children’s charity whose primary focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you'll play a key and pivotal role in designing and delivering development interventions to support the delivery of learning and talent management priorities as well as supporting WVUK’s diversity and inclusion agenda. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer, HR, Internal Communications and Heads of Departments to identify capability needs, designing and delivering blended learning and development interventions across the organisation, and tracking progress to demonstrate added value to WVUK. Key Responsibilities: Commission, signpost, advise, create or deliver learning/training which is appropriate for WVUK and aligns with the charity’s Thriving People Strategy. This includes personal, leadership, team building and development. Manage and deliver ongoing improvements to the induction and on-boarding programme. Review WVUK’s current L&D provision. Work with colleagues to embed interventions and training solutions which support the diversity and inclusion priorities. Implement various learning methods across the organisation, including designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops and other training. Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
