Due to exciting growth plans an independent homecare company in Wellington, Somerset is recruiting for a new Quality Assurance Manager opportunity.
The service has recently acquired key contracts to provide care to a wide range of client groups including elderly, complex care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. Your role will be to ensure the service remains in-line with CQC regulations as the service grows – also supporting the Care Manager with the day to day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:
Oversee and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and standards across the service.
Conduct regular audits, ensuring all areas of the business adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a high-performing and compliant team.
Provide guidance and support to care teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive continuous quality enhancement.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational and financial goals are met.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role within domiciliary care or the wider care sector.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
Passionate about delivering high-quality care and driving service improvements.
Good knowledge of Wellington and the surrounding areas
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
