We are looking for a Production Manager on behalf of our client, a global organisation with UK facilities, to develop and manage the departmental team’s daily operations at their North East sites.
This permanent opportunity requires significant experience in a 24/7 process industry role with proven project and production managerial skills and knowledge.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Effectively communicating to drive team performance, training and development plans whilst maintaining motivation and ensuring appropriate attendance and overtime
Overseeing EHS risk assessments and management systems promoting a ‘safety first’ culture and guaranteeing quality management compliance
Actively managing financial and supply chain demands maintaining inventory and stock control
Maintaining up to date knowledge of development opportunities within manufacturing processes and assist in implementing measurable activity controls whilst aligning corporate targets
Promoting and fostering strong internal relationships with management and senior leadership team members Additional key requirements:
Experience in project management using AutoCAD, workshop refrigeration and fabrication
Legislative knowledge of PUWER & ATEX directives, pressure equipment and pollution control
To understand key site operations and have full knowledge of statutory health and safety requirements and risk assessment processes
Local exhaust ventilation design and performance criteria
