We are currently looking for dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team and provide tailored support to students in both primary and secondary schools. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them engage with the curriculum and make progress.
* Assist the classroom teacher with differentiating lessons and materials to meet individual learning needs.
* Encourage students' personal, social, and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and self-confidence.
* Support students with tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy, ensuring they access the same opportunities as their peers.
* Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to track and support student progress and development.
* Help students build their independence and self-esteem.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN, and a commitment to supporting their educational journey.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children.
* A willingness to engage in further training and professional development.
