The role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll work within an exciting, highly regulated, and technically challenging environment managing a varied and diverse workload. This role offers exceptional career opportunities within a unique, high-investment business sector.
Day-to-day, you will adhere to and sign completion of written operations on production planning within an ISO 9001 quality system, including identifying any variances and notifying supervision for approval or further action.
* Assemble and wire small electronic modules, boxes, and units and electrical/electronic control and indication panels and cubicles.
* Assemble and test the analogue of printed circuit boards and electrical equipment to approved test documentation, including collation of test results.
* Fault investigation and repair of analogue printed circuit boards (discrete through-hole components and ICs) using bench meters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, based on site at Heysham, Lancashire. The working schedule is Monday to Thursday: 10 hours per day from Monday to Wednesday, and 7 hours on Thursday.
Essential experience of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
* Experience within an Electrical Engineering role.
* Ideally from the Nuclear Generation industry or a highly regulated industry.
Qualifications for the Senior Electrical Engineer:
* Electrical Engineering Degree or sufficient time served.
* GCSE Maths and English.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
