We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cisco Certified Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our clients growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex networking environments, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of both internal and external network systems. As a Cisco Certified professional, you will play a key role in maintaining network performance, troubleshooting, and optimising systems. Key Responsibilities Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based environments. Configure and install various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, etc. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with business operations. Network Administration and Monitoring: Monitor network performance and security, including diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks and connectivity issues. Implement network monitoring tools to assess infrastructure and ensure the health and security of network systems. Maintain and update documentation of network configuration, processes, and service records. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to resolve network-related issues and outages, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents and work towards a permanent resolution. Security: Ensure the network is secure by implementing appropriate Cisco technologies, such as Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, etc. Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and prevention measures. Upgrades and Maintenance: Perform regular network updates, including firmware, patches, and upgrades to equipment and network infrastructure. Research and recommend new technologies and advancements in Cisco networking solutions. Qualifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required. 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Cisco products. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of Cisco hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
