Panel Beater Required for a Repair Centre in Aylesford, Kent
Salary DOE in the region of £45-55k basic
Are you a skilled Panel Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving automotive repair centre in Aylesford, Kent. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to become part of our talented team, delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out vehicle panel repairs, including realignment, removal, and replacement of damaged panels.
* Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards.
* Use the latest repair methods, tools, and technologies for accurate panel repairs.
* Perform welding, riveting, and panel beating as required.
* Work closely with other team members, including paint technicians and mechanics, to ensure a seamless repair process.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
* Complete necessary documentation to keep accurate repair records.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Panel Technician in a similar role (automotive, body shop, repair centre).
* Excellent knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, methods, and tools.
* Ability to work with aluminium, steel, and composite materials.
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair) are advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A full, valid UK driving licence.
