My client based in Bedford is looking for a skilled CNC Miller/Turner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, with experience in machining high quality components. Day shift Key responsibilities · Operate, set and program CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision engineered components. · Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD Models. · Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feed for different materials and machining process. · Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards · Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues · Work efficiently to meet production targets whilst maintaining high accuracy · Adhere to health and safety procedures · collaborate with engineers to improve processes and product quality. Skills & Experience · Proven experience as a CNC Miller/Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment. · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. · Proficiency in CNC programming. · Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tool selection. · Excellent attention to detail · Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
