Exciting Opportunity: Primary SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Our partner school is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join a team of dynamic Primary Teachers. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support and assistance to the assigned student, both in and out of the classroom.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create and implement individualised learning plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and report on the student's progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjustment.
Assist with the development of social skills and encourage participation in group activities.
Manage challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies and interventions.
Support the student with personal care tasks if required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and understanding
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of various SEN conditions and appropriate support strategies.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, permanent position.
Pay:
- £85-£95 per day
