Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Farnborough, providing support to children in Key Stage 1.
Role Overview:
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm (term time only)
Type: Full-time
Pay: Minimum £85 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: December 2024
End Date: Ongoing
Contract Type: TemporaryResponsibilities:
Provide learning support to pupils, working both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Collaborate with other support and education staff.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or those with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Manage challenging behaviour effectively and positively.Requirements:
Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
Experience working with children and young people with SEN or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but training can be provided).Eligibility:
Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
