The Job
As a Quality Inspector, you will work in a production environment alongside production supervisors and team leaders, serving as the primary lead for in-process and final product inspections.
Duties:
• Analyse production documentation accuracy
• Analyse production Bills of Material for accuracy
• Training of team leaders to create an inspection team
• Liaise with engineering regarding documentation accuracy
• Identify and escalate quality issues with parts and components to QA colleagues
• Liaise with production operators and management regarding process issues
• Assist with in-process and final inspection training during new product introductions
• Assist with goods-inward inspections
• Assist with customer FATs
About You
As a Quality Inspector, you should possess a well-rounded mix of the following skills and experience.
• Experience being part of a production quality inspection team
• Experience in an industrial quality engineering environment (electrical, electronic, electromechanical)
• Working experience of ISO9001
• Computer literate (Windows and MS Office)
