Excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience within hydraulics, pneumatics & component sales to join a fast growing an innovative organisation.
The company is launching an exciting new service offering and you will be leading the charge on pushing this to market.
The disciplines you will use include electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, programming, fluid power systems, CAD design and practical hands-on manufacturing skills.

In this role you will focus on new business sales within the hydraulics and components manufacture sector, across a range of industries from Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence & Civils. You will lead a small internal sales team. This role is hybrid working with a 5050 split from office based and home-based working.
As Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager you will be out and about on the road a lot with some stays away from home. You would also be expected to go into the office regularly. Your day to day role will include:

* Sales professional with experience in other roles like Business Development, Commercial Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Director
* Experience working within hydraulics, pneumatics and components manufacture & sales
* Full UK Driving licence
* Understanding of hydraulics distribution, system installation, design, build and solutions within hydraulics
* Able to problem solve, be team focused, be resilient and detail oriented with strong people skills
Your role:
* A focus on new business generation within a wide range of blue chip clients
* Leading a small but dedicated sales team
* Launching new service offering and championing it in and outside the organisation
* Working within hydraulics, pneumatics and component sales
* Working with a wide range of stakeholders
* Reporting into the MD
To be suitable for this position of Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager you should have held a Technical Sales role previously, ideally selling hydraulics or pneumatic products. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are able to travel (including overnight stays). You should also hold a full UK driving licence.
