What You'll Do
As a Management Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include:
* Produce monthly management accounts, KPI reporting and board packs providing insightful commentary and analysis.
* Oversee the weekly profit and loss reports, monthly reconciliations and management information to required deadlines.
* Play a key role in the budget and forecasting cycle by engaging with stakeholders across the business producing summaries and presenting back to the leadership team. Preparing and submitting detailed and accurate forecast templates to the Group Finance team
* Be a key team player of the finance team, providing leadership and coaching to other members of the team.
* Drive strong working capital and cash management across the business and ensure accurate cashflow forecasts.
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls. Drive compliance across the business.
This is a hybrid position that offers flexibility to work across our site in Manchester alongside working from home.
What you will need
There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Management Accountant role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:
* CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
* Experience within a manufacturing business
* Good Excel knowledge and also knowledge of other microsoft software
* Strong written reporting skills with experience of analysis of data
