Food and Safety Team Leader
We are looking for candidates who have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health / Environmental Science or other relevant subject, with significant experience in a front-line team. A solid knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation is essential as you will be the Lead Food Officer as required by the Food Standards Agency.

About the role:
You will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of a range of key frontline services including food hygiene, workplace health and safety, and public health whilst effectively supervising five Environmental Health Officers / Food Safety Officers and two apprentices.

You will be able to manage multiple workstreams and meet agreed outcomes whilst ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything you do. As well as having a well-developed knowledge of environmental health issues, thinking on your feet and problem-solving across a range of disciplines will be second nature to you.
