Job summary Work as part of the Emergency Planning & Civil Contingencies Team to ensure the Health Board is able to meet the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2024 and other legislative frameworks. The postholder will work with Divisions within the Health Board and with Partner Organisations to support the development of Planning, Training and Exercising. They will provide specialist advice and support in the preparation of plans and during an incident. Work with the Team to produce policies and procedures and provide a framework for the organisation's response to Civil Contingencies. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as part of the Emergency Planning and Civil Contingencies Team to ensure the Health Board is able to respond to the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and wider relevant legislation Develop emergency response plans for a major incident or business continuity incidents together with services across the Health Board and Local Resilience Forum (LRF) partners. Train, exercise and review these plans. Influence and inform internal and external partners in relation to all aspects of emergency planning.
