Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: You will be supporting 2 individuals who live in their own bungalow next door to each other. They require someone who is flexible, reliable, think out of the box, be positive, have fun with a good sense of humour and be a team player. You need to be adaptable for each day is different and you never know what the day ahead holds. One of the individuals likes to be at home within his own comforts and loves to help around his home and in the garden. He is very much a home bird as they say He likes to help with housework and enjoys foot spa, drawing, puzzles, tabletop activities, listening to music DVDs and Spotify. He likes to have a laugh and having fun. He also likes to Facetime with his family along with their weekly visits. Other activities he enjoys is going for short runs out in his car and going to his local cafe. We are looking for someone to assist with consistency with him but non repetitive same day activities. The other individual loves to be involved with arts and crafts, dancing, using the Community gym, trips to the pub, attending the T Club in Peterhead. He enjoys going to work at Buchan Farm and Aden Wood Craft, and likes to go shopping, seeing his family, going to the cinema, watching darts, playing pool, jigsaws. Other activities are also listening to music DVDs and Spotify. He likes to have a laugh and having fun and taking time out to watch 80's movies. He enjoys helping out with house work, enjoys doing the washing up and tidying and putting away. It is essential we have a Driver for these roles as the Service is in a remote location and not linked to a local bus service. We are looking to recruit a 30 and 32 hour post with shifts from 8am to 9.30pm and 8am to 8am and looking for flexibility to cover late or early shifts.
