As a function the commercial team are dedicated to ensuring best in class in contractual and commercial administration through championing Woods Financial Management Framework in all its aspects.
We are seeking Expression of Interest applicants for the position of Commercial Lead. Please note this is not currently a live role.
Job Objective:
Providing direction and leadership for all commercial personnel working within designated project covering all corporate and project commercial deliverables throughout both pre and post contract activities.
Mentors and coach direct reports in commercial processes and procedures, personnel development and training.
Supports Commercial Manager with delivery of commercial reporting to corporate function and ensure all commercial procedures are followed and reviewed. Support with the implementation and delivery of key policies and procedure including the Financial Management Framework and Tender Governance Procedures.
The Commercial Lead must have good communication and leadership skills, with the drive to manage and deliver WOODS core values and commercial processes and procedures in an ethical manner. Considerable knowledge and experience of commercial administration processes and procedures
Knowledge, skills and experience:
1. Relevant experience in a similar role or professional qualification is desirable
2. Experience in contractual claims & dispute resolution would be advantageous
3. Experience in interpretation of contractual documentation
4. Experience in tendering & negotiation
5. Supervisory skills
