THIS POST HAS AN ANNUAL PAY AWARD PENDING
Love working outdoors? Handy with tools? Enjoy a job where no two days are the same? If you’re practical, proactive, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!
At CrossReach, we need a Relief Gardener/Handyperson/Driver to help us maintain our buildings and grounds, keeping them safe, tidy, and welcoming. One day, you might be tending to the gardens, the next fixing a small repair or checking over a vehicle. If variety is what you’re after, this is the job for you!
What you’ll be doing:
You'll be keeping our outdoor spaces looking great—trimming lawns, clearing leaves, and ensuring paths and driveways are safe all year round. Inside, you’ll lend a hand with general maintenance, small repairs, and moving furniture when needed. And if you’ve got a licence, you’ll also help keep our vehicles roadworthy.
What we’re looking for:
✔ A hands-on, can-do attitude
✔ Some experience in gardening, maintenance, or a trade
✔ A full driving licence (helpful but not essential!)
✔ Basic computer skills for e-learning
Why join us?
This is a flexible relief role where you can make a real difference in a supportive and friendly team. Plus, you’ll be part of an organisation that values respect, kindness, and community.
At CrossReach, we’re proud of our Christian ethos and ask that our team members respect this in their work.
If you’re ready to get stuck in, apply today!
