We are seeking a skilled Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position and will be based at Lea Marston Hotel in Sutton Coldfield.
As our Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you are responsible for assisting with the guests’ journey and experience in your allocated working area to ensure the guests receive efficient and high-quality service. Our ideal candidate is flexible and able to work weekends. We want a dedicated individual who oozes confidence and shows genuine sincerity for their team and every guest that walks through our doors.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* To assist with leading and creating a teamwork driven environment which promotes good morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the hotel.
* To assist with setting clear objectives for team members linked with the hotel’s business plan.
* To continuously coach team members within the department including your peers.
* To assist with the recruitment of new team members and supervisors.
* To participate with ensuring unacceptable behaviour and performance is managed effectively.
* To ensure that the Food & Beverage department creates a professional impression to guests and team members.
* To act upon guest feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility. This to include guest complaints and compliments.
* To be fully aware of budgeted and actual departmental targets. This to include sales, covers, gross profits (food and liquor), stocks, average spends and departmental profits.
* To control and monitor payroll costs by allocating labour resources in line with forecasted and actual business levels, using Company productivity ratios and payroll management.
* To maximise opportunities for departmental sales and profit and other related targets
