Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Sister Charge Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the hospital Outpatients Department.
This is a Full time role at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
* Experienced in acute nursing care.
* Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
* Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
* Recruitment and selection skills.
* Experience working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent.
Duties of this role include:
* To assist the Outpatient department Clinical Lead in providing an efficient, cost-effective, and quality service, ensuring best practice in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
* To take responsibility for the Outpatient department in the absence of the Clinical Lead or as and when required.
* Work autonomously undertaking holistic assessment examinations to implement management plans for patients in specialty nurse-led clinics.
* To assist in the management and organization of the Outpatient departments.
* To assist in the future development of the outpatient department, leading and coordinating a team to ensure the delivery of effective nursing care to patients and their families.
* Participate in the supervision, assessment, and development of staff and students through performance review, clinical supervision, and teaching in various settings, acting as a resource for education and development within the service.
* To act as an effective role model promoting excellence through practice.
* Use specialist knowledge and skills to provide healthcare to patients attending the Outpatient department and lead on the development of new and current Outpatient Nurse-led services and clinics.
