Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse to join the Breast Care clinical nursing team at the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.
We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering high quality patient care, possesses effective communication skills, is a good team player, and is keen to develop new skills within breast care.
The role includes efficient clinic co-ordination duties, managing patients in a dedicated dressing clinic, and providing clinical support to the surgical and radiological teams in the one-stop triple assessment clinics.
A calm, diplomatic, and caring approach is necessary, and the candidate should have the ability to deal with the varied and challenging demands of the unit. The post holder should also have the ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure as well as communicate and work collaboratively within a large multi-disciplinary team.
