We are seeking an Animal Nursing Assistant to join our Shrewsbury Hospital, Shropshire. As an Animal Nursing Assistant working twilight shifts, you'll play a crucial role in supporting emergency cases and ensuring the well-being of pets bridging the gap from our daytime service to our night time AE service. You'll assist the veterinary team by providing essential hands-on care, feeding, walking and caring for the inpatients. Support the nursing team with tasks such as laboratory work, prepping of theatre areas. You will also be required to carry out reception work, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic. This role will involve safely transporting pets between our Telford and Shrewsbury sites as required in our pet ambulance. For this reason you are required to hold a full clean driving licence and be 21 years of age or over. This role offers the right candidate a diverse range of responsibilities across all areas of our hospital, ensuring that no two shifts are the same.
