WMS Software Developer
Skills - WMS Skills (warehouse management software) is an advantage but not essential.
Location – Hybrid (UK)
Salary – Flexible pending experience
Key skills required:
1. Strong understanding of the design, development and testing of .api interfaces between PC/server systems
2. .SQL Server database development, integration and deployment
3. Hardware specification and understanding of hardware requirements
4. Network; configuration, specification, deployment and testing (industrial networks also considered)
5. Configurations of managed Ethernet switches and routers
6. Configuration of servers for remote interfaces(s) and access
7. C#, django, Phython coding abilities to a high level
8. Front end application development and deployment abilities (dashboards)
9. .xml/web .api/TCP-IP/ethernet interface development, deployment and testing
Job Role
1. To work on individual projects at an engineering level in line with the lead times and standards required by
the client
2. To drive the development of HELIX application and new features/products associated with the platform
3. To engineer the innovation of the WMS department with respect to: research and development, new
products, new features. Innovation of the business system(s) within the business and the department(s)
4. To engineer individual projects at a client level in line with the lead times and standards required by the
client
5. To develop technical documents in line with the client requirements to the industry standard using technical
features, diagrams and language
6. To review technical documents, drawings and oversee software functional tests for systems in line with
project requirements
7. To develop Functional Design Specifications for projects as required pertaining to the higher-level control
system(s) of the project as required
8. To ensure systems are correctly tested and quality checked prior to deployment
9. To develop bespoke software as required by issued standards and specifications or in-line with client
requirements
10. To take part in company training when required in order to further improve on current skills
