Main duties of the Occupational Therapist:
* Assess mobility, functional abilities, and physical limitations to determine appropriate moving and handling strategies.
* Create individualized plans to improve mobility, ensure safety, and prevent injury.
* Recommend and train patients and caregivers in the use of equipment such as hoists, slings, transfer aids, and slide sheets.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Recent NHS experience.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Experience in moving and handling risk assessment.
* Car driver preferable.
