The role – Special Needs Lead
I am working with a SEMH school in Bromley that are looking to appoint a new Special Needs Lead to join their team! In this role you must have a strategic overview of provision for pupils with SEN across the school, monitoring and reviewing the quality. As the Special Needs Lead you must make sure the SEN policy is put into practice and its objectives are reflected in the school improvement plan. You must maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and local initiatives that may affect the school’s policy and practice. In this role you must identify pupil’s needs, secure relevant services for pupils, ensure records are up to date and communicate regularly with parents/ carers.
