Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher you will work with students who have a variety of learning challenges or disabilities. These may include physical disabilities, learning difficulties, communication disorders or behavioural challenges. You Are Responsible For:
1. Tailoring lessons to meet the specific needs of students
2. Using a variety of teaching strategies and resources
3. Providing individual or small group support and guidance
4. Managing student behaviour and providing interventions
5. Assessing student progress and learning
6. Communicating with parents, colleagues and supporting staff to ensure students receive the required support
Required Qualities:
1. QTS or PGCE
2. Enhanced child DBS on the update service
3. Eligibility to work in the UK
4. Professional references that validate teaching experience
5. Previous experience handling SEN children
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
