We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, with a focus on Civils you'll cover estimating duties on our new Wessex Water framework.

Location: With remote working, you'll also be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Wessex Water contract, which covers Bristol to to Bournemouth. Your main office location will be Exeter which you will be required to visit on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
As a Civils Senior Estimator you'll work closely with other members of our framework delivery team and the Client, to deliver value for money solutions for the Civils elements of work in line with framework requirements.
Your day to day will include:
* Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement and carrying out pre-work prior to tenders arriving.
* Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing with the ability to produce differing levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
* Read and understand client specifications and drawings whilst considering site safety, health, quality and environmental issues.
* Attend internal and external review and progress meetings as well as site visits/meetings.
* Ascertain preliminary and detailed project requirements and solutions, including programmes and value engineering solutions, with identification of risk and opportunities.
What are we looking for?
This Senior Estimator is great for you if you have:
* A proven track record of successfully delivering tenders/pricing of varying size/complexity in the water industry and an ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a framework environment.
* Experience of the pre-construction phase of projects to quickly identify risks and opportunities.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills with a good understanding of clients requirements and general commercial awareness.
* Have experience of working on construction projects, preferably in the water industry with good knowledge and experience of the processes and mechanical and electrical assets used within the Water Industry.
