Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear
Fixed Term 9 months (Maternity cover), Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary starts at £27,000 to £30,200 per annum plus great benefits including Health cash plan!

Typical day as our Registered Manager
* As Team Manager and safeguarding lead, you’ll ensure high performance and quality assurance of services using your experience and skills to effectively motivate and direct your colleagues. You’ll lead a great team, supporting them to grow and develop.
* You will work in our Care services across Northumberland and North Tyneside supporting customers with Learning Disabilities to live their best life. You will be supported by a Deputy Manager ensuring you can support the team while maintaining CQC compliance.
* You are naturally innovative and creative and will help your team to achieve and maintain the high standards our customers deserve, keeping to regulatory standards.
* We will support you to lead, manage and govern your team, assuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You support learning and innovation, as well as promoting an open and fair culture. You will ensure the competence of your team through a process of observation and assessment, coaching and directing as required.
* As a subject matter expert, you’ll develop and share your knowhow, continually supporting your team, making it a great place to work for your colleagues.

About you
* You hold or are working towards your Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or you may hold an equivalent qualification.
* You have a good understanding of relevant regulatory policies and procedures, including the fundamental standard regulations.
* You have loads of experience of partnership working, as well as having strong inter-agency links within health and social care.
* You're used to embedding a culture of strong communication and reflective practice. You lead, encourage and deliver an open, fair, transparent, supportive and challenging culture at all levels.
* It’s important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and strong analytical skills too.
Job details
* You don't need to be able to drive but do need to be able to work across our services in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
* On-call shift payments of £14.30 per session.
* We will need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which we’ll pay for.
Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.
