The Account Manager will oversee and develop relationships with assigned automotive and heavy transportation clients in the UK, focusing on TRIGO’s Advanced Services, including engineering, technical resourcing, and consulting solutions. This role is pivotal in reinforcing TRIGO’s position as a trusted partner by ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction, while actively identifying opportunities to drive business growth.
The Account Manager will also lead business development efforts, expanding TRIGO’s portfolio of Advanced Services and securing new business with targeted strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the primary contact for selected strategic accounts in the Automotive and Heavy Transportation industries.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
* Regularly engage with clients on the shop floor to gain firsthand insight into their operational challenges, aligning TRIGO’s solutions to meet these specific needs.
* Propose tailored solutions that leverage TRIGO’s full range of Advanced Services, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
* Lead negotiations for new contracts and agreements—including RFQs, proposals, and final contracts—while collaborating with internal teams (technical experts, project managers, and finance) to develop compelling offers that meet client requirements.
Project Coordination & Support:
* Oversee the successful execution of service delivery, working closely with the operations team to ensure that client expectations are met.
* Address any service delivery issues, facilitating timely resolutions to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
* Support financial aspects of account management, including invoicing, budget tracking, and cash collection as needed.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
* Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, projects, and potential opportunities using CRM.
* Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on account performance, project status, and identified business opportunities.
Key Requirements
Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles specifically focused on selling consulting services.
* Strong operational background in the Automotive sector, with hands-on experience in understanding manufacturing processes, APQP, and product launch activities.
* Ability to effectively engage with customers on the shop floor, quickly grasping their operational challenges and translating these insights into tailored service solutions.
* Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and driving business growth through consultative selling.
* Technically proficient and able to navigate discussions on engineering and quality management topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills:
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand technical services and translate them into client-focused solutions.
* Proficiency in CRM systems, Sales Navigator and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education:
* A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
