We are a reputable telecoms & IT company that supplies, installs, and maintains telephone systems, Cloud/VoIP solutions, as well as network services and IT services. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our progressive company at an exciting time of growth.
We are looking for someone from an IT/Telecoms background, preferably from a managed service provider, and someone with strong new business experience.
If you’re the BDM that we are looking for, you’ll be driven, organised, an excellent communicator, and have a successful sales performance. You will be responsible for the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
* Pitching our products and services to prospective clients
* Creating and organising appointments
* New business sales selling into businesses across all industry sectors
* Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with partners
* Meet and exceed targets and deliver sales through high levels of activity
* Promoting the company and maintaining our company message at all opportunities
Skills:
* Previous experience in new business sales or business development role is essential
* An excellent professional telephone manner
* Well presented, confident and enthusiastic attitude
* A friendly, personable and positive approach to prospective clients
* A self-starter with the hunger and drive to achieve great results
* Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and relationships at all levels
* Full Driving Licence essential
